Here we have a gorgeous 100% original condition 1948 production commercial Colt 1911 Government Model in 100% original condition.

Being produced shortly after the end of WWII this one is what is considered a transitional gun where colt used up some of it's remainng war time parts as you will notice with the stocks. A pre/post war 1911.

Comes with original Colt marked magazine.

I have attached several photos.....and can also email them to you directly. Please note, there are reflections in the photos on the high polished side panels and these are NOT scratches......just a reflection of my camera.

I do not have the original box or papers. You will be hard pressed to find one of this vintage in this condition.
