This gun in .38 Special has less than a box of ammo through it. I am the second owner. The previous owners bought the gun for home defense, fired less than a box of ammo through it (which I still have), and I have never shot the gun since owning it.
It’s in very nice shape. Lockup and timing are tight, there are no scratches that I can see, and the grips are free of cracks and chips except for a tiny (and I mean tiny) piece of wood missing near one of the screw holes. (See last photo.) Barrel is pinned.
Comes in original box with matching end label, all paperwork as shown, all tools as shown (including a S&W screwdriver), and a set of Pachmayr K-frame Presentation grips in their original box, part number SK-S-BLK. Not a museum piece, but a nice older Smith.
