*** SPF*** This is the second model of the 15 with a 4" ribbed barrel standard lug variant, from Dan Wesson Arms. Based on the serial number, it is approximately of 1981-82 vintage.
I have no idea of round count, but I have shot 50 of .38 special and 30 of .357 magnum. All with perfect function and zero issues. From the bag on the bench, this is a very accurate and functional gun, but I would say it is "shooter" grade appearance, probably an 8 out of 10 on looks and finish.
This gun does not have the original box or paperwork, but will ship as pictured in a Plano box with an EKW small parts kit (springs and screws), the original barrel tool, and both the DWA emblemed stock wood grip and the Pachmayer presentation grip.
As stated and pictured, not a collector or show grade gun, but if you're looking for a quality, American made, shooter grade magnum and would like to be outside the K-N-L frame or GP-100 box, this is a good place to start.
If you know about Dans, you already know, but this model will accept the other 15-2 series barrels from as small as 2.5" all the way up to 15" in length.
