Condition - According to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, this gun was manufactured in 1978 and comes in a blue plastic factory Smith & Wesson box which is not original to the gun. Gun retains the original Goncalo Alves wood grips and is in excellent condition for a 40 year old gun. It also comes with a set of Pachmayr rubber grips (not pictured). This particular model has the highly desired pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. It also comes with a factory stainless steel hammer and trigger. The rear sights are white outline adjustable and the front sight has the factory ramp. Pictures show the gun's character and factory workmanship that is not available in today's market. Gun has been stored in a climate controlled safe.
These don't surface very often, especially one this nice. It appears to have been a safe queen rather than a shooter. It has not been fired by me so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
