Please everyone bear with me as I struggle through the process of selling a couple revolvers that need to be in ardent Smith and Wesson Collector's hands! Here is how you can help me please? If you want one of the two revolvers, post "I will take it," as per forum rules and send a pm WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ATTACHED!!!! I struggle with the pm part of the forum and need to communicate with you via regular email after your commitment. I will accept either PMO or Cashier's check as payment with hard copy ffl attached. You will receive a tracking number from me as I only ship through my ffl to your ffl. I do have additional pics of the revolvers at your request.
First up is a 624 no dash 3". I do not know if it is a Lew Horton. The revolver exhibits scattered handling marks as evidenced by the photos, and a tiny rust dot behind the crane. The gun has been fired, but I see very little wear at the forcing cone and no heavy strap burn. No box, no docs, just the gun. The grips are beautiful, and I am going to be at $1050.00 shipped and insured to your ffl.
The last one is a unfired NIB model 24 first 100 Lew Horton with presentation case, box, docs, and tools. It does have a turn line from someone who just couldn't help themselves, but I can find no evidence of it having ever been fired. The side with the engraving is smudged, but I was afraid to apply any oil or cleaner that might remove the gold inlay on the engraving. I cannot find any comps on this firearm. I will shoot from the hip at $1600.00 shipped and insured to your ffl and if you think that is out of line you are welcome to let me know!
Thanks for looking!
Scott
