Default Traded locally! LOCK

After thinking this over for some time I’m looking to unload my 28-3.

Gun is in perfect mechanical condition and appears to be low mileage. No erosion on the forcing cone and no headstamp marks on the frame. I was told it was “un fired” when I got it but can’t verify that. I shot it with non magnums. Not much at all, less than 50 light 38 loads.

Some handling marks and high spots wear/muzzle wear but overall nice. There is some discoloration under the blue on the left side. Hard to photograph and have to move the gun around in the light to see it. I read and was told this is not rare during this time period. Have original grips and box along with hogue’s.

What I’m looking for:

357/44mag/45 colt lever gun
Governor
5946
Ruger 9mm carbine
649

All forum rules apply and this would be shipping from an ffl. Face to face in Quakertown Pa 18951 is best though!

Thought about trades and narrowed down to these few. Have my fair share of s&w’s and looking to branch off a little besides a governor and 5946. Those are 2 holes I still would like to fill. I’m not looking to trade up at the moment but will trade even or down with cash on yours if value is too far apart. I’m flexible though and not looking to get rich or anything. Trade value on mine is $600 give it take.

Trade list:
357/44/45 colt lever gun
Governor
5946
Ruger 9mm carbine
649
Ruger double action’s

Took some pics of the blue wear and finally was able to capture the discolor in the bluing. It’s on the left side below and above the thumb piece (circled), and found some right above the side plate. There’s small wear around the cylinder like I pictured. I just took the one photo of the worst of it but can take more if interested. Also noticed the marks on the ejector rod while taking pics so that’s included as well. There is matching small loss of blue on the other side of the barrel but limited to 5 pics uploaded and didn’t want to anger the mods by having 2 replies in one day. Can email/text more pics to anyone of course.
