Default **SOLD** M&P Model of 1905, 3rd Change (.38 Special)

For sale is a unique and very distinctive revolver. DOB 1910-11 (s/n 1546XX) This gun most likely started out with a blue finish, but now wears nickel, including the hammer and trigger. This refinish was probably done decades ago. There is no evidence of over buffing because every rollmark is sharp and clear. All numbers match on the butt, cylinder, yoke, barrel and ejector star. The barrel is 6 1/2" which is unusual for this model because the standard lengths were 4" and 6". There is a tiny nick (pictured) in the finish on the left side of barrel, but their is no finish loss, peeling or flaking anywhere else on the gun. Stocks are genuine mother of pearl. Mechanics and timing are spot on. Screw heads are perfect. The bore shows some very minor erosion, but the rifling is sharp. I have fired this gun with standard velocity ammo, and it shoots fine. It will ship FFL to FFL only. No C&R accepted (If this is a problem for you, please move on.). No trades. No returns. No sales to California. Payment by USPS money order only. Price is $400.00. Shipping is $50.00 to the lower 47. PM your email for more photos or questions. Thanks for looking.

This old gal is calling to me. Harkens up the era of zoot suits and gangsters hanging off the running boards of their Model A's. I will take it. PM sent.
