**SOLD** FS Model 547 4 inch as new in box

For sale a model 547 that I bought new in 1983. With box, papers and bill of sale. No tools.

I bought this when the buzz in the gun world was " The Wonder Nine". All of the gun writers were ate up with the 9 mm round and single stack pistols. I was and still am a revolver man and I bought this gun to see what all the hoopla was about. I put maybe 150 rounds through it in the first couple of years, oiled it up and put it in the safe. I know it hasn't been fired in the last 25 years. Retirement has taken me out of S&W collecting and into other interests.
S/N is 19D99XX and it doesn't even have a turn line in the cylinder. Pictures are not the best but it is as close to as new as you will find.

It is time for it to find a home with a true collector. Price is $1,400 and the buyer needs to cover the freight. Your FFL needs to accept shipments from individuals. Payment can be by personal check if you are a SWCA member or a long time member of the forum. I will ship it to you when you tell me that you have mailed your check. You will have a two day inspection period and when you tell me you are satisfied, I will cash your check.

First I'll take it followed by a PM gets it. $1,400 and buyer pays freight.
