Default 340PD (NIB) and Marlin 1895GBL 45-70 (lowered price with ammo)

Smith & Wesson 340PD

Looking to swap my new in box .357 Magnum J-frame 340PD "AirLite PD" for another nice firearm. Would consider trades/partial trades (up or down) for .44 Magnum revolver...Model 29, 629, or Ruger Redhawk. Or S&W Models 10 (snubby), 13 (3" round butt), 15 (15 snubby preferred), 17/18 (or "pre" models), 19, 27, 586/686, Pre-lock N-frames in .45 Long Colt, .44 Special, etc. All interesting trade offers welcome. May consider selling outright but extreme low-ballers need not apply. This is not a desperation sale.

The latest edition of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson puts a value of an "As New In Box" example of the 340PD at $900.00. This gun is unfired (unless the factory fired it). I bought it from a friend a while back. He bought it new and never fired it. I haven't fired it. He included the full box of 50 S&W brand ammo that he bought with the gun (that can be negotiated ). Gun is in original blue plastic S&W case with all documents, Hogue Bantam tool for grips, S&W anti-corrosion paper and two keys in little zip lock bag. Can send pics to your cell phone or e-mail.

Marlin 1895GBL 45-70

Selling (or possibly trading) a brand new, unfired, Marlin 1895GBL. I have the Owner's Manual and gun lock but not the box. $550 shipped (to your FFL dealer) for the gun, manual, and lock. Will include 20 rounds of Hornady LEVERevolution ammo for $550 shipped.

Can send pics of Marlin and ammo to your cell phone or e-mail.

I have 400 rounds of top quality, name brand, new 45-70 Government ammo in 20 round factory boxes. See list below. I would do a deal for the gun with ammo or sell the ammo separately. I would do the gun with 400 rounds of ammo for $1,000 shipped. Replacement cost of just the ammo is approximately $700.00. Will consider trades or partial trades for pre-lock, pre-MIM, S&W wheelguns. As always, first "I'll take it" followed by PM. Thank you.

Model 1895GBL | Marlin Firearms

Note regarding where the 1895GBL was made....barrel reads "The Marlin Firearms. Co, North Haven, CT. U.S.A." I suspect it may have been made by Remington in Ilion, N.Y. but it doesn't say that. I'm not an expert on Marlin firearms. Either way, it's a nice firearm.

Here's a list of the ammo that I have. All are boxes of 20. 400 rounds total.

45-70 Govt. Ammo

Hornady "LEVERevolution" 325grain FTX...………………………eight boxes
Federal Cartridge Co. "Fusion" 300grain...………………….....seven boxes
Federal Cartridge Co. "Power Shok" 300grain Soft Point.....two boxes
Remington Express Rifle 300grain SJHP...……………….…...…three boxes
