This one is quite the carry gun! I understand that there were gunsmiths who did this modification with the old MKII's on a regular basis. They were very popular and inexpensive at the time since there were lots of surplus guns around. All numbers match on this one as well.

This one is one of my favorites and I believe will make a wonderful addition to any S&W collection. The stocks are "Fuzzy Farrant" style and very comfortable in the hand.

**SOLD PENDING FUNDS**

This one is 100% original including the stocks which have the S/N penciled on the inside of the right panel.

Has obviously been carried and shot but is in excellent condition. Cylinder timing is perfect and the bore is good.
A nice example of a pre-war S&W that was shipped in July of 1908 according to Mr. Jinks.
