Pre-27 3.5” Nickel

Letters as a 1953 shipment to Walter Lookabaugh, Smith & Wesson's West Coast Representative, although the SN would indicate production in 1950 or 51. Mr. Lookabaugh was involved in S&Ws presentation of a M39 to Jack Webb in 1954 and a .44 Magnum to Raymond Burr in 1957, so where this piece went from Lookabaugh is a topic for further research.

No box, papers or accessories, but the letter is included. Pictures tell the story. All markings are sharp. There is a visible ding at the left side of the muzzle which does not affect the crown. This is no safe queen but cleaned up well and might improve even more in the hands of someone who enjoys polishing guns. Priced accordingly at $1,500 OBO. Postal MO shipped FFL to FFL in an included hard case.

I would consider a shooter grade M-15 or .45 ACP revolver as a partial trade.
