Hello Everyone. After deciding to thin the old S&W herd a bit, I have finally decided to put up one of my rarer S&Ws. I have up for sale (prefered) or trade a S&W 386 XL Hunter, SKU 164298. This is their scandium framed 7 shot 6" barreled .357. This gun was only produced for a couple of years and is one of those gaps in a person scandium framed revolver collection that is tough to fill. Case is dated Nov, 2010.
Overall, gun is in good condition. I have tried to include a picture of every "defect" or wear and tear. If there is a photo you want, please let me know and I will get it for you. I want you to buy this eyes wide open.
Comes with fancy S&W blue plastic case.
Original owner indicated less than a box through it and I put 2 cylinders worth through it to check functionality. I have only given it a light cleaning as the finish on the Scandium framed revolvers can be sensitive and if you want to scrub and scrub on it, that would be your choice.
Due to the rarity, the price on these has been going higher and higher in the auction side. However, rather than put it there, I'd rather start here and give my fellow members a chance to fill that slot in their collection first.
