- Comp .40 (4006)SOLD
- Tactical .40 (4006)SOLD
- Shorty Forty MK1SOLD
These guns have quite an interesting history as far as the original owner (and only owner until I acquired them.) They're from the estate of Jeffrey Alan Lash who was by all accounts a mysterious and eccentric conspiracy theorist who claimed to be a CIA agent, and who had amassed a collection of over 1200 guns and tons of ammunition before his death in Los Angeles in 2015. His decomposing body was found in his SUV on a residential street. Google him for the story.
In the ensuing investigation after Lash's death, LAPD impounded his collection which included pistols, high end precision rifles, and shotguns. Unfortunately, any boxes and accessories like mags and rifle scopes seem to have disappeared somewhere in the chain of custody. Since the guns went to estate sale in California, any hi-cap mags would not have been included in the sales anyway. I don't know the complete story, but it was fortuitous that Lash's collection eventually went to sale, as his family originally wanted the guns destroyed for fear they would end up in the wrong hands.
Condition of the PC guns is UNFIRED!! However, they sustained some varying degree of VERY SUPERFICIAL scratches apparently during impounding by LAPD and subsequent handling for estate sale.
First up is the Comp .40.
