Sold: S&W 696 No Dash-44 Spl, L Frame, 3" bbl, pre lock
Offered is my 696 no dash 44 special with papers and almost matching box. Gun is excellent with no issues. When I got it I fired 12 or 18 rounds of 44 special, cleaned it and put it in the safe where it has remained. It may have been fired before I bought it but would not appear to be much if at all. I list the box as 'almost' matching becuase the printed serial number on the end label is different from the gun's number but is a 696 box with a close number. The gun's actual number was hand written on the label as you cane see. I suspect a dealer had 2 of these 696s in the display case and pulled the wrong box when the first one sold. The fired case envelope is also marked with the label's and not the gun's serial. All other paper, warrant app, etc. are included.
This is the no-dash model with hammer mounted firing pin, case colored hammer and trigger and of course, no lock.
The gun will be shipped via FedEx 2nd day air from an individual with a copy of my TX DL and my '03 C&R FFL for identification. Please ask any questions before taking it. Payment by MO, Cashier's check or persoanl check (held for clearance). 3 day non firing, non disassembly imspection however buyer would pay shipping both directions if returned.. Thanks.
