I have for sale the most desirable model of Smith & Wesson post war .357 magnum revolvers - a Pre-27 Model with a 3.5 inch barrel in its original serial numbered gold box.
The gun dates to around 1954 and is in near new original condition with just a light cylinder ring and no evidence of being fired more than just a few rounds after leaving the factory.
The gun has matching numbers on the barrel, cylinder, ejector star and the frame. Original box is in nice shape as well with a faint matching serial number written in grease pencil on the bottom.
A small percentage of Pre-27s were made in this desirable barrel length. The sale Comes with a factory letter detailing the history of this model in general, as well as this particular revolver.
