For sale is a very nice Field Grade RR/RR 1911 A1 CMP pistol that I received last year. It has not been oiled or fired since it was received from the Army Depot rebuild. . With unquestioned Army provenance, this is a rare opportunity for the WWII collector.
These are one per lifetime and the CMP does not want them to go on public auction sites. There was one that sold on GB, a service grade very similar, it brought $1924 from a dealer who is a member of this forum. Local gun shows are DOA so I am offering it to the members of this forum.
The price is $1200 plus half of shipping from my FFL,
total $1230.
It has a very heavy pelican style case, everything that was in the case is included along with the original CMP certificate in my name. Payment by USPS MO. Three day no disassembly return on your dime but you must contact me before return to my FFL. It must ship to your FFL, no C&R. First posted I'll take it prevails, with follow up PM and contact info of your FFL within 12 hours.

I have been told the magazine is a WWII replacement and the grips are the correct style.
I WILL NOT DISASSEMBLE THIS PISTOL. I had two custom Colt 1911's that I left an idiot mark on and I will not risk doing that to this. PM with other questions or for my phone number. Thank you!
I will consider high grade nickel S&W revolvers in trade.
