Default FS:*FINAL PRICE DROP8/10* (SPF) pre27 3.5”, model 3 1st Russian, pre 19

So my girlfriends traffic violations have come back to haunt me, she incurred some tickets before we got together and now they’ve built up fees and fines for failing to pay. I love her a lot so I find myself in this lousy position where I have to come up with a bunch of money to pay them off or face the wrath of Florida state. I’m really bummed out about it because I’d just started building this collection and all of these are recent purchases. These are my prized possessions and I’m sure most of you will understand how much it hurts to part with them. I know this little *** story is all superfluous information to the sale but I feel like you fellow collectors will understand my unenviable position. I live in SW Florida so I can ship or if you live my area we can meet up. I’m a newer member but I’ve been doing some business with long time member and seller Mr. Newell on here and I’m sure he will vouch that I’m legit. Can provide ID and proof of ownership.
Please email me directly at [email protected] because I can’t keep up with the inbox on here. Thank you.

First we have a pre 27 made in I think 1955 iirc. It has the 3.5” barrel. It’s got some honest wear I believe it’s seen a good bit of holster time. It’s not pristine but I have had it looked over by a gunsmith and it’s in very good working order. Super accurate. The trigger is fantastic and has spoiled me because now I know how great the action on the old S&Ws are compared to newer guns. Has a target hammer but not target trigger. Will sell for 1000 plus shipping.

I have a model 3 1st Russian, it’s not model marked as a “Russian Model” but I calipered the cylinder and it is a Russian. The barrel has been cut to 5”, some parts have been repaired or replaced but everything is functional and it retains a lot of original nickel finish. It appears to have been rebored for 44-40, I found that out from a forum member here. Guess it was fairly common at the time. Still and all it’s a very cool piece of history and everything works. I replaced some of the screws but have all the original screws. Final price drop to 750 shipped, even with its issues this is a good price since everything functions on it. I know these aren’t exactly hot sellers in this condition but compare it to other Model 3s in similar condition.

I’m also listing the odd ball pre 19 I’ve posted in the discussion part of the forum. There’s been some speculation about this one. The frame and cylinder are factory nickel and have the appropriate N markings on the nickel parts. The blued barrel is serial numbered to the gun so I don’t believe it is a gunsmith barrel swap. It also has the B for blued and the diamond which according to the SWSC can indicate a special order feature before leaving the factory or repaired or replacement part. I’m positive the blued barrel is factory, the roll marks are crisp, it’s a high polish blue and to me the real question is was it a special order that left the factory like this or was it returned to be blued. I feel almost certain the blue barrel was done at the request of the owner and my plan was to letter the gun. There are no rework dates anywhere on the gun and the barrel has the lazy &. I understand it may not be everyone’s taste but I believe someone thought the two tone was the bees knees in 1955. In any case it’s a great shooting gun that I’ve only taken to the range once and it has that great action of the older guns. Final price drop to $900. if the gun letters to this configuration which I would give 50/50 odds, it would probably be worth twice as much. It may not be to everyone’s liking but a one of a kind pre model 19 is probably fairly valuable.

I’m not selling any of these guns because I would like to.. Circumstances just kind of put me in a bind and I love my fiancée slightly more than I love my guns lol and if she doesn’t get these fines paid there’s a chance she could have to deal with some consequences besides just paying fine. I’d be happy to answer any questions and provide more pics. I want everyone to happy with the deal so I’d rather provide 100 pictures and describe every flaw because I have until the end of the month to pay the fines. Because of that I don’t really have the time or funds to be shipping guns and have an unhappy customer and have to wait for them to come back and then repost them. I’ll allow a 3 day non disassembly non firing inspection period. But please be pretty sure you want the gun, I’ve fired all of them except the model 3 and the Yugo and they are in good working condition.

Also posting additional pre 27 photos. I don’t know why they are oriented all out of whack apologies. Again please email me direct at [email protected], I’ve been getting quite a few emails and I have a hard time keeping my inbox clear.

Bump to the top please. The pictures posted don’t really do the pre 27 justice, it’s got some finish issues but is still a nice gun.

Bump please. I’ve dropped the prices a little more but they’re only going to get so low.
