Default Please close thread 2 rare S&W revolvers 17-8 (black) price drop and 66 3”bbl (SPF)

Need to pay off new laptops for the kids for remote learning so I am reluctantly selling the two revolvers I don't shoot much anymore.

Both are in very good condition but have been shot. Perfect for those who are looking to have shooter grade pieces or for someone who is just starting out in collecting.

1) S&W Model 17-8 22LR. This one was made only for a few years (1996-1999) and not seen very often. 10 shot, pre-lock, pre-MIM, 6" bbl, monogrip and the original aluminum cylinder. These models have a unique matte black finish. Not sure what it is but it is not blued or painted. Just the revolver as you see in the pics. No other accouterments. $900--> now $850 shipped to your FFL. Add $20 if you need it FFL to FFL.

2) S&W Model 66-5 357MAG Hi-Viz 3.25" bbl. This was a stocking dealer special where I have read that there was only about +/-300 made in this configuration. Short 3" bbl, pre-lock, original rubber grips, hi-viz front sight and has a great trigger. Rare model for sure. Has original box and docs. $1500 shipped to your FFL. Add $20 if you need it FFL to FFL. SPF

Please no trades. Thanks for looking

I'll add in more pics but will upload the ones I have for now.

If you have a Winchester 1200 or 1300 Marine stainless 12ga, I would be interested in a trade deal.

Dropping the price of the 17-8 to $850. If no sale by the end of the month, I'll just keep it.

Interesting history on this model, if nothing else, please do some due diligence and research and see for yourself.
