1917 Colt frame w/ Remington Rand slide. AA rebuild. Mixture of 1911/1911A1 parts. Mis-matched grips. "S" marked parked barrel with shiny bore & strong rifling. Parkerized pitting under grips on frame. Great shooter grade USGI 1911. One unmarked pinned base plate mag. May have came from the CMP, but I bought it used. If your looking for a USGI 1911 like you probably shot during basic, or were issued after WWII, this is an excellent example.
