I am selling the following for a friend who would like them out of the house as the grandkids are spending more time there, etc. He no longer shoots.
Up first is a Franchi semi auto in 20 ga. It is recoil operated and weighs around 5 1/2 pounds. The 28 barrel is choked modified and has a pleasing style of vent rib. 2 3/4 chamber. Bore is chrome lined and in excellent condition. Serial number of barrel is different than the receiver, not sure if it was shipped from the factory that way or not. Mechanically the condition is outstanding. Structurally there is a crack in the stock from rear of trigger guard extending maybe 2. See photo. Easily repaired, for those so inclined. All internals have been cleaned and lubed. Cosmetically it has your average field use marks on wood and bluing loss on barrel where a leather sling rubbed on it (right side at mag tube cap area). Assorted small scratches on receiver. I have a Franchi 48 in 20 ga like this one and it runs flawlessly. A joy to carry all day long, and fast to the shoulder and on target. Also a great gun for young shooters and women.
$300 plus $25 shipping from individual to your FFL. ***SOLD here on the forum, Thanks***.
Next is a c. 1976 Smith and Wesson Model 36 in .38 special. This package includes the original box, some paperwork, and a leather Bianchi holster. Timing and lockup are excellent. Bore and chambers are bright. Holster wear on muzzle, high points of cylinder, and left stock panel is more worn than right one. A small loss of blue on left side of top strap. This is an awesome carry piece for those who love the simplicity and concealment of a J frame .38 contained in a comfortable leather holster.
