Looking to trade Jon Jovino 25-2 .45acp
Unfortunately no box or goodies but I'll include a few moonclips and tool.
Stag grips made by S&W forum member bigmtnman and I think compliment this revolver quite nicely. *The custom wood herrets do not come with the revolver*
Beautiful Jovino converted 25-2 in 45 ACP. Great action, solid timing. Good bore and no endshake. Typical solid Jovino construction with “triple lock” style crane detent added. K frame round butt. Will make a great custom carry.
Shipped with a lot of 650 (6 inch model 25-2) units to John Jovino in NYC who converted them to 2.5 inch barrel combat conversions in 1983.
There is some wear on right side of the barrel that's not really consistent with holster wear. I'm guessing maybe defects when it was refinished after being cut down??
I've handled quite a few revolvers, many customs, and the action on this one blows them all away. Buttery buttery smooth.
Here's your chance to own a rare custom and not feel bad about carrying to the BBQ and shooting (hopefully not at the BBQ).
I recently bought this because I always wanted a Jovino but I don't have any .45acp and I really don't want to mess with moonclips. So here we are...
Would like to see what's out there for trades. I'm more of a .357 and 44mag guy. All set on 27 and 28. I like 29, 629, And I love short barrel fixed sight revolvers. 13, 65, 10, 681/581, 520, etc etc.
Only interested in prelock stuff.
More pictures available to potential traders after we've established trade interest.
The pictures with the wood grips are included because they're nice outdoor pics in natural light but the wood grips are NOT included. I suppose they could be for the right deal.
