Would you be interested in selling the ammo seperately? If so, how much?
Thanks.

Do you have a data sheet filled out on the rifle?
What kind of ammo is the clipped ammo (also, what is the headstamp)

Let me try and answer all of your questions in one post.
1. It is not a CMP or an import to my knowledge. It was built from parts mostly SA parts. My dad had it built before he passed away and I know he didn't half *** things, he knew his Garands
2. I don't know if the barrel is dated to the receiver. But here is the serial numbers and you can tell me.
Receiver is SA 25076XX
Barrel is: Crown VAR D65354481-60 284 DK Crown M
Bolt is: 6528287-SA B-2-0
3. Clipped Ammo is Lake City, marked on ammo can and round. All ammo stored in cans with desiccant.
4. The Head stamp is LC69.
5. I am sorry but I have no idea what a Data Sheet is. I wish I could help you.
I am not a Garand guy, but I know that this rifle is in great shape, it speaks for itself. With the Ammo included it is at a good price. If you are out of area buyer will pay for Transfer and shipping, it is going to be heavy!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will try to answer them.
Thank you.

Here is some additional information:
Markings on ammo bandoleers is:
1. LC 42729 on the front.
2. Nov Prod Jun 69 on back.
The books are:
1. The M1 Garands Owner's Guide, by Scott Duff.
2. The M1 Garand Serial number & Data Sheet, by Scott Duff.
3. US Army and Air Force Tm 9-2023-1 and TO 11W3-5-3-102 M1 Filed Maintenance.
The bayonet and scabbard are marked:
1. The bayonet is AFH U symbol S, symbol is a circle with feathers or flames on top.
2. The scabbard is a Crown FKF.
I hope this helps.

They barrel may have a date on it. Pull the op rod back and look. Been a long time but I think that is how the date is exposed.
Since it's a parts gun it may even have a new barrel. That would be great and if I was closer would likely purchase from you.
Great package.

Danish VAR barrel from 1960. These are excellent barrels, have two on my Garands and they are shooters. Good luck with your sale.

If you change your mind on trade items I will trade you a new M4 for the garand package. If not that is ok as well. Nice rifle.
