I have a very nice Rolleiflex 6008 Integral 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 film camera, NIB, with all of the packaging and paperwork, including the camera body, 80mm Zeiss Planar lens, Magazin 2000, fold-down viewfinder, battery, charger, cables, caps and covers, and a UV filter to protect the lens. All new in the box, and unused. This camera is currently selling for $1,500 to $1,900
used on Ebay, and as much as $4,700 new at the big photo stores in New York.
When I bought it in 2003, it listed for close $5,200, and I got it when a store went out of business for $2,500.
I'm willing to trade for one of the following:
(1) a dead mint Model 57 no dash with an 8-3/8ths inch barrel in factory nickel. The finish is critical. A lot of "unfired" nickel guns have numerous micro-scratches, handling marks, whatever. This gun must be crisp. It goes without saying that the action must lock up tight, etc.
(2) the same thing in a Model 29-2 with a 6-1/2 inch barrel.
This is a great deal for someone who wants a high end German camera capable of doing incredible work in the studio or outdoors. Personally, I hope someone on the list who likes to make gun photos sees this and has what I am looking for to trade.
Contact me off-list at the email address in my profile.
Thanks!
