Colt M1909 US Army, 45 Colt. A very rare martial Colt, the last revolver chambered in 45 Colt for the US military. Built in 1911, it was shipped directly to the US Army depot in Manila for use in the Phillipine insurrection. I purchased it from the then 85 year old grandson of the trooper to whom it was originally issued. It has antique stag grips and about 85-90% original blue, showing use and holster wear. All inspector and acceptance marks are sharp and clear, all original finish. Only 10,000 of this model were made, between 1909 and 1911, all but 350 were shipped directly from Colt to the Manila Army depot. $1,850. Still available.
