Up for sale is an early S&W 5 screw Pre-28 Highway Patrolman with a 4" barrel in 357 magnum. It is a real nice shooter grade, with a nice slick S&W action that feels just right. All the numbers match on the gun, the bottom frame, rear of cylinder, barrel, and back side of the extractor. The trigger and hammer have been jeweled to smooth out the action. It appears to be an older refinish that still looks pretty good. It has some wear at the front sides of the barrel and ejector housing, and on at least one of the cylinders. There is a little rust that is hidden when the grips are on as you can see in the picture. The top right part of the rear sight is rounded for some reason. It wears a set of Pachmayr Presentation grips that has a small chunk missing in the front near the strain screw. It's not perfect, but a good solid revolver. Sorry, no box or paperwork with this one. I am asking $850.00 for it including insured shipping from my FFL to your FFL. Please ask any questions or let me know if you need more pictures. The first I will take it posted to this thread followed with a PM, gets it. Thanks for looking.
