This is your standard Marlin 1895, not modified in any way. Rates about 97%, just some minor scratches/handling marks. The worst of it is a cluster of 3 tiny scratches (1/8" or less) on the top left edge of the receiver, and a small ding by the action screws on the right side, no rust. This is a beautiful gun, you will not be disappointed.

I bought it brand new in '04 and fired maybe 140 rds, 3 were into deer. They don't run very far after that.

I do have the front sight hood for it and it comes with uncle mike's QD sling swivels. It has the factory hammer extension installed also.

Looking for $430 shipped without the scope and mount.

I will sell the scope and mount to the buyer of the rifle for $150.

The scope is an Excellent condition (99%+) Nikon Monarch UCC shotgun scope 1.5-4.5x with the TurkeyPro Reticle. The reticle actually works very well in practice with deer, just put the vitals in the box and pull the trigger. It is an ideal setup if you ask me. The mount is Burris. I purchased the scope and mount brand new and they have only been mounted on this rifle and never removed.



I love this gun but haven't shot it in a few years. It might as well be passed on for someone else to enjoy.

Does this gun have micro groove or ballard rifling?

It has 6 grooves so I think that makes it ballard. I had Gander Mountain order it new in September '04 and I read that they stopped doing micro-groove in '97.
