SOLD WTS/WTT Custom Model 19-5 (non P&Red) (Oregon)
When this revolver came to me, it had been carried by a cop for years. It had almost no finish remaining, had a timing problem, ****** pachmyer grips, a ding in the trigger guard, and the rear sight superglued down. It was a mess.
So I took it in and worked it over. I replaced all the springs, I fixed the timing, I faced the cylinder and set the barrel back to regulate velocities from all six chambers, I removed the rear sight and fixed it, I gave it a nice action job, I ported the barrels with nice inset ports (I don't like magnaports single line look), polished the gun back to a mirror polish, reblued it, put gold inlay in the lettering (it can be removed if you don't like it), installed an insert into the front sight, so it can actually be seen, and put new hogue one-piece grips on it. Its now back to respectable. Even its former owner likes it.
But now the projects done, and it just sits in my safe. I shoot my model 66 more. So this one needs to go. I am selling this one for 750$ shipped, or would be open to trading. The best way to get a hold of me is via email [email protected]
And please don't troll on my thread or flame me for "ruining" this revolver by working on it.

Thanks for the compliment. I like it, but it deserves an owner who wants to shoot it. My custom 66 fills my need.

Thank you. I don't figure anyone has money (I sure don't) right now. But trades are always fun.

Would be happy to trade for another S&W revovler, especially in something other than a K-frame (I already have five or six k-frames). Also open to other trades (or trades plus cash).
I just need to find this one a good home.

I guess if I send this to the top enough times, eventually someone will find the desire and means at the same time and relieve me of this beautiful revolver.

I'll send it to the top again because someone really should get this one. Such a beautiful job on it and I would love to have it, but just can't swing it right now.

Nothing "ruined" about this revolver. Very nice work with classy style. I wish I had the coin. Somebody has got to bite. Good luck.

I don't know what a troll is, but I like the work you did on that 19. I have spent my life trying to make things better than when I got them. Keep up the good work.

Need to trade this off. I want a new toy and can't afford to drop cash on one. So I need to trade this for something new. 1911, S&W revo, Garand. Or will sell for $700 shipped. Better deal for FTF.
