Medalist sold pending funds
For sale:
1975 Browning Medalist shooter in average condition. I am the original owner.
Comes with case and all accessories except the cartridge block- no idea where that went. Two original magazines (in the wax paper sleeve), complete counterweight set, folding screwdriver, and manual. Even includes the wax paper envelope for the case key.
Mechanically excellent, and shows wear from use.
The stock has the typical split, which was repaired, at the heel, so common to these. It also has some nicks and a couple of lower edge dings, which are overly apparent with the lighting in the picture.
There is very minor freckling on the slide rear, which does not really show in the photos, plus there is blue wear along the bottom edge of the slide.
The outside of the case shows some age as well, with some minor scuffing and some wear on the corners.
Also included is a plain walnut spare stock of uncertain origin, which I got to make it more shootable for my wife. The knurled nut is missing, but since the screw hole does not line up properly with the hole in the gripframe, the nut wouldn't work anyway. This stock is serviceable and what I preferred for ordinary shooting.
This is an absolutely outstanding-shooting gun with the best (gold-plated) trigger you will ever try; these also have an excellent built-in dryfire system in the thumb safety mechanism.

Would consider a partial trade for a four-inch blue N-frame shooter in sound mechanical condition and not too much concern over cosmetics. Examples: M-29, M-25, and so on.
