** Updated 4/15... both revolvers are SOLD! **
My dealer has the following revolvers for sale on consignment in his shop in Nolensville, TN (about 20 miles outside Nashville, TN). I purchased both revolvers from auction sites about 6-12 months ago. I never had the chance to fire either pistol, life is just too busy right now. The only reason why I am selling these pistols is that I need the cash and have simplified my collection. I am happy to answer any questions vie email, but you can also call the shop directly and talk to the person who answers the phone. There are only two employees, the owner and one staff person. Both are able to answer questions about the pistols. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of either item, so will do my best to describe them. Mike (the owner) my be able to take pictures of either item and email them to you. Give him a call to see what is possible.
The shop accepts cash, certified funds or credit cards (no upcharge). His shipping rates are very reasonable (usually under $25) because he ships via USPS Priority Mail. His shop is The Saddle Shop in College Grove, TN. The phone number is (615) 395-7555. You can tell them you are interested in one of Kevin's revolvers. They know that I am posting this ad on the forum.
**SOLD** Pistol #1 is a Smith and Wesson 19-3 .357 Magnum revolver with a four inch barrel. It is pinned and recessed. The metal is in 90% or better condition, with some muzzle wear and wear on the edges of the cylinder. I expect that I was carried in a holster. The grips are in 70% or better condition. They are more worn than the revolver. I believe the grips are the original set and are the target grips. The serial number is 7K463xx and dates to 1974. I do not have any items with this pistol like box or papers... just the revolver. The bore and cylinders look nice and shiney. It has a nice smooth trigger. The price is $385 plus shipping. **SOLD**
**SOLD** Pistol #2 is a Smith and Wesson 29-2 .44 Magnum revolver with a four inch barrel. I purchased this as a new unfired gun in the wood presentation case with the original papers. I do not know for certain that it is unfired (except for the factory test fire). Unfortunately, the original owner scratched the gun on the right side of the muzzle. The scratches are about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch in length. It does not affect the function of the revolver. The scratches might be able to be buffed out, but I was not willing to try. In addition the front sight and rear sight blade are both dinged on the right side. Again, no impact to the function of the revolver, but want to make full disclosure. Other than those three items (scratches and two dings) the pistol is in 99% or better condition. The grips are the factory target grips and look brand new. The only other issue is that one hinge on the presentation case is broken, but can be easily fixed. The inside and outside of the presentation case is in excellent condition. The serial number is N3876xx and dates to 1977. The price on this revolver is $660 plus shipping.**SOLD**
If I forgot anything or you have questions, you can email me or call the shop. Obviously, if you are local you can purchase these directly but you will need to pay TN sales tax (but no shipping). If you are out of state, there is no sales tax.
Thanks.
