SOLD: Smith & Wesson .38 Chief’s Special Airweight Model No. 37

Here’s a very nice, classic S&W snub-nosed revolver. It’s a light-weight .38 with a 2” barrel. Based on serial number, it was likely produced in the mid to late 60’s.

The bluing was estimated at 98% at the local gun shop. It’s been shot very little and has no holster wear. The only blemish is some finish wear on the edge of the frame near the cylinder hinge. Otherwise, it looks practically new.

Included is the original matching serial number box, all paperwork (instructions, warranty card, and NRA signup form), plus the wax paper wrapping.

Nice piece, good luck in getting it sold. Doesn't seem like too many folks are buying things here of late. I've already bought up my budget for a while or I'd take it off your hands.

How about a possible trade on a Model 40-1 in nickel that has been carried some over the past two years, and shot occasionally as well? Have box and accessories as well.
