I had listed this previously but I've since updated the trades list and general info.
This is the most unique item I've listed here. I have a (literally) like new Performance Center Model 945 for sale. This is the 3.75" version and only 500 were ever produced. Mine is the stainless model, of which only 250 were ever produced. This gun has had exactly 50 rounds fired through it, all by me. I purchased it unfired from the original owner who had kept it in his safe for years and years as a part of his collection. (He had a few 945s) The 945 is a stylized 1911-ish handgun. It is a single action piece with a grip and thumb safety, but offers the rugged reliability of the S&W line of .45 semiautos.
These are not only hard to find, but most are not complete. I have the owner's manual (for a 645, which is what came with the gun. Takedown, etc. is the same), the aluminum Performance Center lockable case (combination has never been set before...you get to be the first to do so), and both original factory 7 round magazines.
I've owned well over 300 handguns and this is by far the nicest to date. I really stretched myself to be able to acquire it and I'm sad to let it go. It handles beautifully, shoots like a laser (the 945s are known for their accuracy), and they have a great reputation for reliability. I've only fired 50 rounds, but all of them went downrange without a hitch, and this after sitting in a safe for years. I added some oil to the rails and ran it, and it ran perfectly. The trigger is nice, there is no rattle in the gun. Fit and finish are excellent. The finish is a flat satin stainless with polished flats. Gun has a Briley barrel bushing. The mags load up easily, they seat easily, and they eject smoothly.
In my hand this is the "Glock 19" of .45s size-wise. The G19 is a perfectly sized gun for my CCW purposes. This 945 3.75" fits me like that. All hands are different, but this is an excellent carry piece.
The grips are attractive wood and have no wear marks on them.
These retail for $1500-$1800 gently used and rarely include the case and both mags. I also bought an additional ten (10) factory 7 round magazines from the seller, making a total of 12 mags available with the gun. The mags sell for $42 each when they can be found.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance at a complete package like this. While I realize it's expensive, I am not interested in breaking up the package. I have no use for the mags without the gun and there are so few of this model around that selling the mags on their own could take a while. This is an all or nothing package deal.
Unlike my usual ads, I am not going to give this away or constantly lower my asking price. This is a unique item and the cost is what it is. I am willing to entertain a few specific cash+trade ideas which will be listed below, but I am not interested in anything not on the list or lower cash offers.
Here are some pics:
For the gun, case, and two original magazines I am asking for a cash price of $1400.
For the additional 10 magazines I am pricing them at $30 each, which is what I paid.
Total cash price for the package comes to $1700.
The trades I am after are the following:
S&W Model 66 2.5" barrel, stainless, .357
Ruger SP-101 .357, hammerless, stainless
S&W 22-4 .45 revolver
SIG P220 SAS fullsize or Carry, wood grips
Gen 3 Glock 21
S&W 645 (plus mags)
iPod Nano (the one that plays videos)
iPod Touch
PlayStation 3
.223 ammo (factory, not Wolf)
9mm ammo (factory)
I'm mostly interested in trades so any combination of the above would be considered. If we ship, we each cover our own shipping and transfer costs. My FFL will only accept transfers from another FFL. Local face to face deals are always preferable. In AZ, AZDL is required and CCW is even better.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions.
