Fs cs1 686 final price reduction SOLD
Here is a CS1 Customs Service revolver in 4" in great condition, though I have fired it as you can tell from the turn ring. No major hickies, but may have slight handling mark somewhere. The box in the picture doesn't number to the gun, but is from the same era with a similar serial # prefix and includes the manual, warranty card, oil paper, etc. First $650 shipped. SOLD

Please Pardon my ignorance, I'm pretty new on the site, not up on all the "terminology" as of yet. What does the CS1 designation mean? Are these any rarer or produced in limited quanities? I'm interested in your gun, just not sure what it is. Thank you in advance for any information you might add.

The CS1 was designed for the US customs service. They were produced in 3" and 4" barrels. They are one of the more desirable 686's due to their high quality and extremely smooth triggers.

Thinking about taking this to Gunbroker, unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse. Anyone?

two questions
Hi Fomeister,
Does this gun have a bead-blasted finish or the "regular" stainless finish? Does it have a tight lockup?
Thanks,
Jeffrey
