Fisrt up is a .38 S&W Special 1952 Production (SERIAL # 171XX) transitional Five Screw 2" pinned barrel flat latched serrated trigger Pre Model 36 Chiefs Special Double Action Revolver.
This early example is all original with a conservative rating of 85% on the finish with excellent lock, timing and minimal endshake. The grips are original and serialized to the gun with the right side grip panel having a chip that runs alongside the inside of the frontstrap but does not cause any wobble or effect functionalitiy.
