I have a 57 no dash, S2385XX serial number (1965/1966) pinned and recessed, 6" barrel, blue 41 Magnum for sale. Includes presentation box with tools, I am not sure the tools are correct. The condition is a nice shooter but there are some marks on the side of the barrel which I have tried to show in the photos. $625 OBO shipped in the lower 48 to your FFL. I have no idea if I can sell this into California what is involved?

The T/C Contender ***Sold pending funds to reloading rich thank you*** is a 14" blue bull barrel in 35 Remington. It has a Leopold 4X scope and base. I am the original owner but I don't have the box, papers or original grip and forearm. It has black rubber Pachmayer grip and forearm, $375 for a face to face sale at my house.

The 296 no dash *** Sold pending funds to bbtrout thank you***, was professionally fitted with a stainless steel cylinder to add some weight and to make it easier to maintain. It is my understanding that bronze brushes could not be used on the titanium cylinder because of the thin surface treatment. The pistol now weighs 21.125 oz instead of the original 18.9 oz. I am the original owner and have not shot this pistol much, I have decided to carry a J frame instead. It will come in the original "jewelry box" but no paperwork. $500 shipped in the lower 48 to your FFL.

I have a model 25-7 *** Sold pending funds to 1950jcb thank you*** N frame 45 Colt, blue, unfluted cylinder, 5" barrel, "Model of 1989". The cylinder throats are 0.452 to 0.453. This pistol has the original factory rubber grip. It does have the cylinder turn line but it has been fired very little, I am not the original owner, I don't have the box or paperwork, just the revolver. $550 shipped in the lower 48 to your FFL.

Answers to some PM questions:

Do you offer a three day no fire inspection return policy? Yes, sorry should have included that in the original posting.

Who installed the cylinder in the 296? Jim Stroh, Alpha Precision in Georgia. The cylinder gap is .004" and functions very well.

Does the 296 have any flaws? None that I am aware of.

Do you have the original titanium cylinder available? No, Jim installed it into a different revolver for me.

I have been asked to accept less for one of the pistols and the answer is not right now but I will keep it in mind.

The answer to Rich's question, the serial number is 79787.
Several years ago when I was having an insurance appraisal done the gun shop owner said I should sent the Contender back to the factory for an update. Sadly I don't know for sure what the update entailed.
