I have just acquired a .41 mag Blued Mountain Gun (57-5, with internal lock) with nice Ahern grips. It is in near perfect condition, and shoot like a dream, but I am not a big fan of .41 mag now that I have shot it.

I'd like to trade the revolver for a similar condition 45colt Mountain Gun. I'd prefer a blued one, but stainless is okay. I don't mind the lock, either. This may be a long shot, and I don't need to get rid of the .41, but I thought I'd try.

Looking for an even trade. .41 has box, papers, padlock, and two speed loaders. As long as the condition is close to lnib, I don't care about any accessories, box, or papers. I want to shoot it, not collect it.

Might be interested in other 45colt model 25's, but only with 4" barrels.

This revolver is listed on other forums at this time.

I can kick in extra cash along with the 41mag Mountain Gun for the right model 25, or 625. I'd also consider doing a combo trade. The 41 mag and a 686-2 w/ 4" barrel in excellent shape for a very nice model 25 in the $1100-$1200 range. I know this is a long shot, but it can't hurt to try. If no-one bites on this, I'll have to start carrying the 41 mountain gun into the woods with me. I can think of worse fates.
