I'd like to part with this new, unfired Model 57, s/n N368xxx, in blue with the 8-3/8" barrel. The gun is unblemished and perfect in every way, just as it left the factory. The only noticeable flaw if, it is one, is a very faint turn line on the cylinder. The Goncalo Alves targets are nicely figured and perfect. The revolver comes in the original box, the interior of which has been professionally restored by Joe Cebull to repair a crack in the plastic tray that holds the revolver and has been reflocked. The exterior of the box is perfect. The original tools are included. Sorry, no papers.
I am looking for a 5-inch pre-Model 27, a Model 27, or a Model 27-2 in
nickel, with a
blued front sight, and in
pristine condition. I would be open to cash plus gun deal for the right piece.
If you are interested in a cash deal, I am looking for $825, plus insured shipping to your FFL. That's $175 less than I've got in the gun, and as low as I think I ought to go before putting this out on one of the auction sites.
If there are seriously interested traders/buyers I will be happy to make a set of detailed photos and send them to you. Please send your email address if you would like me to do this.
I'm not interested in trades for any other revolvers right now, except perhaps a new in the box 5-inch pre-Model 27, Model 27, or Model 27-2 in blue.
Thanks.
Bullseye
