Posted this on some other forums, but even though the gun is a Ruger, thought it might apply here... Mostly because I'm looking for 50's through 70's handgunner related stuff..
Don't know how this happened, but I'm kinda into retro guns stuff right now. So I stumbled on this old Outer's handgun rest. It was at KTP for just 30 bucks. Needs some restoration, but it is still fully functional. Never wanted a Ransom Rest and truth be told they are very limited devices. This just seems to fit the bill, and as the pic shows I have some period correct guns in my collection to show with it.
Anyrate, I remember this stuff when I was a younger pup and just getting into shooting. Seems like a natural offshoot of collecting.
Was wondering what else might be out there that other folks have collected?
