TWO WOLVES

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes

on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all..

"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride,

superiority, and ego.

"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his

grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

I have a kind of similar story...

There was an old fisherman who had a old fishing boat who lived on an island, everyday he would wake up, go out on the boat all day and fish for his food and enough to sell at the open market. One day a business man approached him and asked if he could go on the boat with the old fisherman and he agreed. The business man was soon realizing that this old man could be sitting on a great business opportunity. The business man told the fisher that he should start charging money to take people on fishing trips, and even start selling more of his fish to larger companies that would can the meat. The fisherman listened to the business man as he gave projected incomes that be be had the first year of this fisherman's business. The business man explained to the fisher that if he played his cards right he would be able to retire in a year, have no worries or stress in his life, and that he could spend the rest of his life relaxing and taking up hobbies that he enjoys. The business man said just think, you could live your life however you wanted, be happy and do what you enjoy, doesn't that sound great? The fisher replied.....I'm doing that right now.
