'S & W' Grips from Thailand
There are a number of 'S&W' grip sets from Thailand for auction on Ebay. Just be aware they are out there and from there. Can anyone who has purchased any tell us anything about them?

I bought these from dajim on ebay. $43 delivered and the fit is good. I bought a pair of Thailand j frame boot grips on gun broker, about $35, and they were ok but there was a noticeable gap on the right side prong. I complained and the guy sent me another pair. The wood is sturdy and the grain is nice. They aren't Spegals but they are better than goodyears.

Coincidentally, the pad thai noodles I ordered from Smith and Wesson were soggy and under seasoned.

Those grips look pretty nice to me. That's a very nice looking Diamondback by the way. I've been tempted to order a pair from this seller but haven't yet.

Thanks. After seeing what original D-Back grips bring on Ebay I'm even happier with these. Took about 2 weeks for delivery and mine were screwed together tight and shipped in a bubble pad manila envelope.

I bought some of these for a 66 3". They were very nice for the $35. They were a bit thin at the top to consider mounting S&W emblems.

I've purchased four sets from AIVIA2001 on GunBroker.com . Fine craftsmanship from Thailand. A perfect fit with each set. Very nice wood.

Check the tag on your "wears" worn next to your made in AMERCA scrotum. Probably says "made in a country that hates you all"

I purchased a couple of sets for J-frame and K-frame, combat style, about a year ago. Very good fit and finish. I am pleased.

I think I saw a Denny's in the background of one of those photos...are you sure they are from Thailand? Could be a scam to hike up the postage.

I put a pair on a Sigma one time. It improved the looks of the gun but detracted so much from the grips that I took them off...

My drawers are made in Mexico I'll have you know-the reason I know that is that the Fruit of the Loom plant used to be about half a mile from my house until they went to Mexico about 15 years ago. No Chinese drawers for Big Jim & the twins-We'll have mexican or none at all

Thanks for reply and info. I also wear FTL's and it's great to know they're Mexican made. The writing on the tag is too small for me to read. I assumed the tag read "woven with care by Asian children who are happy in their work for the collective." I buy all my stuff from the Gentleman's Shoppe at Walmart. Those Mexican tailors are the best! I tried Hanes but there's too much "shrinkage".
