Default Diamonback68=A True Gentleman=A 27-2 4" Nickle
The individuals here at this Forum never cease to amaze me.. and make me thankful that I am part of it..
Today I had the good fortune to meet up with Diamonback68 while attending one of the areas larger Gun Shows.. this is the show everybody wants to go to as it is a "Club" show. Really neat "Stuff" as there are few vendors and almost all hobbyists and collectors..

I mentioned to Dick that I was on the lookout for a
27-2 3 1/2" ( as is everybody) .. as I had just sold one of my " Other Brands" .

About an hour later Dick Called on my cell and told me to stay right there.. I got some information for you.. When he arrived he told me he had located not a 27-2 3 1/2".. but a 27-2 4" Factory Nickle.. Dick had already done some negotiating and point out some things that I am sure I would have missed.. I turned to Dick and said "This is your find" and I know you don't have a 4".. Dick turned and said

" Well I DO have a couple of 3 1/2" ers" and you do not own a 27.. so go ahead it's yours"..

How do you thank somebody like that.. ?? so the deal was struck and I am now the proud owner of a 27-2 4" Nickle..

Here is a picture but..( Excuse the crummy photography and smudges) but the point of the tale as it were, is not the gun, but the quality of the people we hang out with..

I have never met the man, but he is a gentleman on the forum, so I can understand your admiration for him.

A true gentleman, for sure. There are quite a number of true gentlemen and gentlewomen on this board, and I've had dealings with a lot of them. I'm more often than not awed by the people here. I really enjoy hanging out with 'em on this fine board.
