I don't know if I coulda drawn my bow on a deer like that. I woulda been lucky not to fall outta my tree stand.

That is some nice buck. Pretty impressive, even more due to the fact it was taken with a bow. Now if I could only find one half that size this season.
As far as a shoulder mount, that is all of the skull plate that is needed to attach it to the mount. They do not use the actually deer skull for the mount.

Yeah that's true. We just always cape them down to the scull and cut the head off and take the whole thing to the taxidermist. I just wasn't thinkin' I guess.
