Default "Army issue"....which Army?

These were advertised as "Army Issue" K frame grips, but the medallion is a bird, not the S&W logo, are they US Army or some other nation?

They are not "army issue".

I believe they are made by Sile in Italy.

Standard Salvation Army issue....I see them around Christmas time when their soldiers are guarding the money kettles.

Well- see- I was right.
They are not ARMY issue, they are AF issue.

At least I was right about Sile.
I wonder why the AF went to Italy for supply, instead of to S&W????

Next thing you know, our guys will be carrying Italian pistols!!!!!
