Something for the LSU fans
Thirty years ago, LSU and Southern Cal played at epic battle at Tiger Stadium | LSU Tigers Central - - NOLA.com
Tiger stadium on a Saturday night is like nothing you have ever experienced.
They're right-one of the GREATEST games ever played in Tiger stadium. Although I watched it on TV I WAS at tiger stadium in 1971 when we beat Notre Dame 28-8 avenging a 3-0 loss at South Bend the year before.

Of course the rest of the season was a downward spiral for UT from there............we finished the year with a 5-6 record. The win over LSU being the only bright spot.

Auburn and LSU have been playing off and on since 1901. ( I think Sip was at that first game) We've endured earthquakes (1988) and fires (1996). AU lost both of those, but my favorite was the 94 game. Four 4th quarter interceptions by AU for a comeback! That was a game!
