Out my window this mornin
I was up at 7am getting my son dressed, when suddenly a deer walks past the window (only a couple of feet too) so after he was taken care of, and the deer had walked around the front, I grabbed the camera. I couldn't get a picture of the mother who was way down on the front lawn, but I was able to snag this pic, even though the quality isn't that great.

Maybe you can get a picture of the mother when they let you out?

How much is your bail? Perhaps we could start a collection and have you out by the weekend.

Nope, definitely a palmetto bug. You can tell by the feelers.

Good shot , David. Everyone wants great pictures, but they preserve memories. You caught the moment, you will remember the circumstances.
My favorite picture of my mother is not a good photo, but it catches her, in a special way.

Its hard to photo deer, with those massive ears, they hear ANYthing, even from inside the house. THis pic was taken through my front door window - through a screen, knew they'd be gone if I tried to open a door.
They don't just come down in the fall (autum for some of you), they live in my neighborhood year-round.
