Oswald and Jack Ruby Were In A Rock Band! Here's A Picture!
A little known fact. Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby were in a band together called "The Sonic Outlaws". Here's proof.

I don't think so. That has to be a doctored picture. I recall seeing that scene live on TV. That's the expression Oswald had when the bullet hit him, and I recognize the expression on the lawman's face standing to Oswald's right. Definitely not funny. That was a bad day for America.

I admit, I got a brief chuckle when I saw that some time ago. Is it just now getting to California?
When you think about it, it is a little off-color. Humor is a peculiar thing. No sense taking things like this too seriously.

It's too bad they didn't keep him alive long enough to really "sing." They probably wouldn't have told us anything anyway. They still haven't.

The day President Kennedy was murdered by lone gunman Oawald WAS A TRAGEDY for America. The day Oswald got shot wasn't. Oswald was an insignificant loser who wanted to be somebody. After unsuccessfully trying to kill a Texas politician he assasinated the Pesident. Ruby was an erratic unpredictable nut. I think it's just fine to make fun of these guys. Unlike Oliver Stone who showed President Kennedy's bloody killing over and over and over again in his rediculous but well made piece of **** fabrication movie JFK. Was that in bad taste?

It's been almost 46 years, and I still cry whenever I see anything on TV about those 3 days in November of 1963. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. That would never happen today. Live TV coverage for 3 days straight, commercial free? I think not. -Ed.

I'm looking for the third drummer. I think they left him on the hill behind the fence.

Wyatt Burp- well said! Even Penn and Teller were able to dispel the garbage Oliver Stone was pandering, by shooting a couple of melons. (No pun intended...)

I always found that Ruby/Oswald band photo hilarious.
But then again after I bought an old Carcano I couldn't help
but pose for this picture:
Incidentally, I wasn't trying to glamorize Oswald in any way. The assasination was before my
time but I too think Oswald was a ***. And Oliver Stones movie was also a ***.
But then again I'm sure Stone believes the World Trade Center was brought down with explosives.

I had dinner one night with Ruby's attorney Melvin Belli when Ruby was still alive. Belli said Ruby had some sort of a rapidly progressing brain disorder ( maybe the cancer he later died from had metasticized into his brain ) and he said that Ruby was a mess mentally. I wasn't sure whether Belli was believeable since his defense of Ruby was based on him being whacko. When I met Belli he had a writer traveling with him who was doing a story for Playboy on Belli. The writer was Alex Haley who was in the process of completing " Roots". Haley had a great story about how he had talked his way into the head of the American Nazi partys headquarters to interview George Lincoln Rockwell because he didn't tell him in advance that he was Black. Haley was an interesting guy ...Belli not so much although he did have a blonde bimbo with him that he introduced as his secretary and who later became his fifth wife in a Shinto ceremony in San Francicsco.

That was the worst day in American history, up until last November's election day.
