Question IT Guy - Help or Assistance Needed

I have received a PM, and cannot reply?
I get the message that the user cannot be found?
All I am doing is using the reply function under PM's.

Thoughts , ideas, or maybe some remedial training?

Thanks

What User ID are you replying to?
The Office is always a far better place for Tech assistance. The IT Guy does not always view The Lounge.
I beat him regularly, trying to force him to, but he is very stubborn.......

Wink

I tried the reply function on the PM as I have done previously on other PM's. Tried it several different ways, but no luck this time? OOPS Toyman !!!!

You know monkey see monkey do.

Did not even think of the Office for contact to the IT guy, maybe shows where the problem might be????

As far as the beatings, and stubborness. etc. when I had an IT department to refer problems to, I found that sugar was better.....e.g leave a donut or 2, sometimes even 3, by my keyboard and when I came back no donuts and the problem was solved.
So tell the IT guy that there is a whole box of donuts by my keyboard!!

OK, I'll try beating him with a donut, but I don't think it'll work.

I relayed this to him.
Would probably fix it if you simply logged out, cleared cookies and cache, and logged back in.
Computers get loaded with "junk" in just a few days- web pages that are stored, pics you view, banners, logos, all sorts of stuff.
I clear mine every day or two.

Lee, I clear my cache frequently, actually every time I log out.

The reply to PM function appears to be working now for me, maybe associatated with popup blocker as I got that message this time, and now allow popups from this site!.
But a new wrinkle was this time was that when the PM reply went through, I was logged out of the site???

So trying to clear everything out of cache, letting things clear and come back in later and see how it goes.

Thanks for the help so far!
