Not recommended as a course of action....
....... but I've seen some real abuses from these "loan Modification agents" Some of them swindle these poor people out of thousands of dollars and do nothing in return.
L.A. Couple Tortures Loan-Mod Agents

goes under the heading of "Dont try this at home" for sure...
doesn't mean for a moment that it doesn't result in some fine reading

The couple will have a roof and 3 squares after being bounced to the street by the bank. Also guaranteed at least a two bedroom place.
Maybe the agents can hire on with the CIA--"recent torture experience".

Guess it depends on the jury. As always. The "victims" here aren't the kind that gain sympathy. Most jurors would probably like to see the "agents" suffer. It might be real hard to get a conviction, and the prosecutor should know it.
Tell me, Caje, that you'd be afraid to defend them?

Let me start off by stating that I'm not in favor of kidnapping, and assault and battery. That stated, if this case ever gets to a jury, the judge and the prosecutor will advise said jury, that the case is about the facts and the law. They hate jury nullification, which is what this begs.
The prosecutor will probably try to offer a deal, rather than prosecute these folks in open court.
