Default Collectibles Insurance Services

Via Certified Mail, I just recieved a Notice of Nonrenewal of Insurance for my gun collection. Has anyone else gotten this?

It stated that I had an Inland Marine Policy, so I don't know if it is a mistake.

Sounds like they believe you have double coverage. An inland marine policy is used to cover items that your homeowners or renter policy doesn't ,such as tools, guns, etc.

Sent from my Dick Tracy 2 way wrist radio.

OK, I just talked to them and it is a change in the policy in regards to earthquakes. They stated I will get the renewal in a few weeks but the earthquake coverage will go from 1.5 million to 150K.

I received the same policy cancellation and earthquake notice, though they told me they would continue to insure my guns (?). I had coverage with them for about ten years. I cancelled and went with Eastern Insurance Group instead. Deductible is higher but rates are at least 25% less than Collectibles.

I am happy with Collectibles. No big earthquakes in N. Texas!
