Post S&W Survey

I received an e-mail from Smith about the model 40-1 my wife bought me last year. It contained a link to a survey so I went and filled it in. When I came to the question about why I chose the particular model I did I replied "It was one of the very few (if not only) Smith & Wessons still being made without the internal lock". I doubt if it will change anything, but they asked and I told them the truth.

Good Job.
They probably won't change, but they asked.

I've seen a couple new 442's (not old stock) sans lock. Maybe S&W is doing a sales comparison. I've got one left with a lock, a 432. I don't like the lock. What do you think of new cyl retention boss (or whatever its called) I don't care for it either.
