Gotta love Dad!
So my dad calls me today wondering when I'm coming in for Thanksgiving. I tell him Wednesday afternoon because I have a short day and that I'd stay through Saturday. "Well I was by Wal-Mart and bought a 550 count of .22LR, your mom is working Friday so we'll just shoot for the day." That's funny, he barely mentions Thanksgiving and then goes right into us shooting all day Friday. Hahaha!

That means you get TWO really great Thanksgivings all in the same week? I'd be thankful for just finding the rimfires in stock!
Congratulations on the good fortune of being able to spend the time with your Dad and Mom. You truly have a lot to be thankful for if you can. Give them both a hug from me.

What I would give to have one more day with Dad shooting turtles with his Marlin 39A down on the Warrior river. Enjoy them while you have them.

You are a very lucky guy. Some of the fondest memories I have are of my dad and I going shooting together. Now that he's gone, I miss him terribly. Treasure the time you have together and make the most of it. Going shooting with your dad is about as good as it gets.
